LOCAL PRIMARY STATION AGREEMENT
Local primary stations and relay stations agree to pass through with minimal delay
the following EAS codes:
-TOR (Tornado warning)
-FFW (Flash flood warning)
-CEM(Civil emergency message)
-CAE (Child abduction eme~gency)
-RMT (Required monthly test)
-EAN (Emergency action notification) (NO delay is permitted)
MONTHLY TEST SCHEDULE
The required monthly test is originated by one of four sources on a rotating
basis: State Primary (WMSI-FM), NOAA Weather Radio, Miss. Emergency Management and
the Miss. Highway Patrol. All tests except from NOAA are coded statewide. if a scheduled
test is missed for any reason, it should be made up the following day at the same
time as the scheduled test. If a scheduled test falls on a major holiday or on a
day when severe weather or an actual emergency is occurring, the test may be postponed
until the following day.
The test schedule is as follows on the first Monday of each month for 2010:

NOTE: If a test is missed for any reason, originator should reschedule
it for the following day at the same time. In the event of a test falling on a major
holiday, it may be rescheduled for the following day at the same time.
