JOB SUMMARY
WLBT is searching for a part-time associate producer who is ready to get their foot in the door at
Mississippi's largest television station. This person should have a desire to grow and excel in the
TV news industry.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Edit video for newscasts while under deadlines
• Run teleprompter during newscasts
• Assist producers with writing scripts for newscasts
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
• College degree in Journalism or related field preferred
• Strong writing skills
• Experience with video editing software
