Qualifications

  • Computer savvy with strong desire to learn

  • High sense of responsibility and reliability

  • Strong organization skills

  • Highly detailed oriented

  • Proficiency with computers, telephones, etc.

  • Strong PC/MS Office experience

  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Flexibility to work any shift

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written

    Responsibilities

  • Master Control Operator is responsible for the overall on-air look of the television stations

    through airing programming and scheduled station breaks

  • Ensure the correct spots air during programming and note any discrepancies

  • Manage live program logs and ensure accuracy

  • Quality control of local commercials and promos

  • May require working overtime, holidays and weekends

  • Other duties as assigned
